It is best to use a network where bandwidth intensive applications such as Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, gaming etc. are not running during the test.  In fact, students should not have any other application running on their laptop (or computer).  Also, if they are taking the test at their home, they should have all other devices to be disconnected from the Internet to get the most bandwidth for their task.
 
It is highly recommended that you first do a practice test with the students using Respondus.
